Careful, reasonably priced and flexible - we were a "piggyback" move (i.e. part of another move they were doing) and they took it in stride. | Customer (Jun 30, 2009) |
We had 2 stumps that needed removing and a small hemlock that we wanted to relocate to open up the view. We hired Urban Elements and were not disappointed. Brandon had two metal stakes buried under the stumps to also navigate - he was able to remove the stakes and grind the stumps very quickly and efficiently. On moving the hemlock, Brandon gave us knowledgeable advice on it's new placement and again did the work very efficiently.
In addition to the work he did for us, he also looked at some trees for my sister-in-law. I was there as he walked the property with her and discussed the trees - I was impressed with his knowledge of trees, the issues that impact a homeowner's consideration of trees (disease, hazard level etc.) and his thoughtfulness on dealing with tree issues (e.g. fertilizing and care of a diseased tree before removal).
Based on our recent experience, we are already planning on having Urban Elements come back to work on one of our especially l

Prompt, efficient and knowledgeable
I usually don't buy the service contracts or extended warranty program - and didn't this time, but my wife did! And in this case it was the right call. The service call would have cost $167 - but with the program we didn't pay for this service.
Our dryer stopped working a couple of days back - just wouldn't start. We called Sears, where we bought the appliance from, yesterday and had an appt with a tech setup for this morning.
He called ahead to let us know he was on his way, showed up as scheduled, diagnosed the problem quickly, replaced the part that was in question (a fuse that burned out) and was very knowledgeable, explaining to me how and when this fuse will burn out, along with some tips on how to keep your 5+ year old appliances in good shape and make them last another 10 years.
All in all, a good experience and now some dry clothes!

We've used them for a while now - with 2 dogs your carpets get...welll a workout. And as they've gotten older, they do have occasional accidents. The folks at Cascade ChemDry are very professional, helpful and their system leaves carpets relatively dry! We'll be using them again.
We've used InHarmony for a while now - once we learned ourselves what needed to be done! We tried the fall/spring seeding and maintenance ourselves, but found the result inconsistent. After calling these folks, we haven't gone back. Now we have them do our fall/spring aeration and seeding and our lawn is green, lush and healthy. To be fair to ourselves, our backlawn was a bit of a challenge - it's lower than the house and surrounded by trees; so we had numerous bare spots and moss. With InHarmony's treatments, even the back lawn is looking inviting. I'd highly recommend these folks!
