I just spoke with a local Seattle area business owner (we’ll call him “Business 1″, or B1 for short) who received a call from another local Seattle area business owner (we’ll call him “Business 2″, or B2 for short). B1 told me that B2 made the following claim:
- a referral was received via HelpHive.com – he was prepared to do the job, only to find that another business had stepped in on the job
- that must mean that HelpHive.com took the referral and sold, gave or sent it to a competitive business
B2 may have lost the job but it wasn’t due to HelpHive.com because:
- Given our business policy and practices we DO NOT NOR DO WE HAVE ANY INTENTION of taking a lead, referral or job destined for one business and passing it on to a different business. period.
- Our current site and system have NO SUCH TECHNICAL CAPABILITY. It just plainly and simply can’t do this.
