While we don’t think of ourselves so much as the ‘Yelp of home services’ (Yelp is the wildly popular online restaurant and entertainment guide), we’re honored to be considered as interesting as Yelp!

With HelpHive, we’re trying to create significant value and participation for businesses as well as consumers … creating a community around a marketplace … more like what eBay and Craiglist have done so well …  focused around home services.  And with “referrals” as the key driver as … because both homeowners and businesses both overwhelmingly prefer referrals as the means of connecting to get home projects done.
